About Art Lives Here
Art Lives Here (ALH) is a collaborative program between the Denver Art Museum and Title 1 schools, libraries, and community that brings art and artmaking to underserved audiences in the Denver metro area. Each ALH activation includes a 1–3-month Art Installation or Exploration Cart at the partner site, an artmaking workshop for kids and families, and Creativity Kits . Kids, families, and educators can interact with art made by local artists, explore learning through art, and get inspired to become the next great CO artist!

Art Installations
A mini mobile museum! Installations bring 3-4 pieces from the Art Lives Here collection to your site for up to three months. Kids and families can learn about art, local artists, and artmaking through mindful looking, reflection and engaging activities.
Exploraton Carts
These versatile, mobile carts take the art from under the glass to create an engaging, hands-on art experience. Perfect for classrooms, carts focus on a single piece of touchable art, allowing for deeper engagement with the art and artist and inspiring and empowering kids to release the artist within!
Creativity Kits
Creativity Kits inspire artmaking and self-expression with quality art supplies and engaging prompts. Our current kit focuses on “The Art of Storytelling” and includes flashcards guiding kids through the elements of storytelling and how they can be expressed through art. Creativity Kits are free and are distributed to our ALH partners to support their community’s art exploration journeys.
Art Lives Here / El arte vive aquí was created thanks to generous funding from Cathedral Fund in honor of Rand Ningali. Program support is provided by the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS), Aegon Transamerica Foundation, Xcel Energy Foundation, and the residents who support the Scientific and Cultural Facilities District (SCFD).
